The downtown building that was formerly home to concert hall La Zona Rosa—where many legendary musical performances took place over the years—has reopened. Now, it is a rentable events space known as LZR.

LZR hopes to bring people, events, artists, and creatives together by offering a collaborative 17,000 square-foot event space equipped with a warehouse, lounge, built in bar, landscaped outdoor patio and seating area with a built in stage. This place is versatile and can be transformed to your event needs.

EVENT GUIDELINES

  • LZR has pay-to-park street parking on 4th, Rio Grande, and the surrounding areas. Valet services can be added through a third party vendor or through your event planner.

  • LZR requires security at all events of more than 100 guests and any event past 10pm. Security is hired through LZR and billed directly to the client.

  • We require a licensed caterer to provide all food and beverage services. Catering and Beverage vendors must be from our approved list. If you have a request that is not on our list, please contact your Event Sales Manager.

  • LZR requires an event planner or dedicated on-site coordinator to be at your event from load in to load out.

  • We highly recommend using vendors from our preferred list, as they are familiar with the space and have been vetted. However, if you use someone not on our list (other than catering and bar services), there is no additional fee. We require all vendors to sign a venue rules and safety agreement before the event.

  • Site visits are by appointment only, no walk ups. Please contact our events team to set up a tour!

  • LZR is equipped with WiFi and basic AV equipment, including a screen and projector. The screen is 16 ft across and 10 ft tall; 19ft diagonal.

    There is a 10pm sound ordinance for any music outside on the patio on weekdays and 12am on weekends.

  • Cleaning services are provided in addition to your venue rental, pending your final event needs. LZR provides basic cleaning before every event with your rental.. There will be an additional fee for post event cleaning and any on-site cleaning during your event, if needed. We can provide bathroom attendants, busser and trash maintenance.
